Atlis Motor Vehicles Shares Up 20% on Heavy Volume

Shares of electric truck developer Atlis Motor Vehicles Inc. were up 20% to $1.86 following eight consecutive daily declines.

Volume was 23 million shares, compared with a 65-day average of 1.3 million.

Atlis, which raised money through crowdfunding before its initial public offering, has had large stock swings since it debuted on Nasdaq in September. Shares have ranged from $1.50 to $243.99.

Atlis is developing a truck focused on the agriculture, service, utility and construction industries.
