BRIEF-Russia's Mechel says 2022 coal output at 11.3 mln T

March 23 (Reuters) - Russian steel and coal producer Mechel says:

* It produced 11.29 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal in 2022, compared with 11.35 million tonnes in 2021;

* It sold 3.97 million tonnes of coking coal concentrate in 2022, down 9% year-on-year;

* It produced 2.52 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal in the fourth quarter of 2022, down 10% from the third quarter;

* It sold 839,000 tonnes of coking coal concentrate in the fourth quarter, down 20% from the third quarter.
