Shares of Wearable Devices jumped Tuesday after the company said it had completed the first commercial manufacturing batch of its flagship product.
The stock was up 22% at $1.38 in pre-market trading. Shares have nearly tripled this year.
The Israeli company, which makes touchless sensing wearable products, said that it had completed its first batch of the Mudra Band for Apple Watch, a watch band which allows users to control Apple devices with finger movements and spatial gestures.
This first phase of manufacturing was geared toward meeting pre-order demand, the company said. It plans to begin delivery in the next several weeks.
