Nautilus Plans Corporate Name Change with Pivot to BowFlex -- Market Talk

1728 ET - Nautilus is leaning into a new identity. The Vancouver, Wash.-based company is changing its corporate name to BowFlex, matching the name of its branded fitness training equipment, effective Nov. 1. "Our new corporate identity better represents our unique position in connected at-home fitness equipment," says CEO Jim Barr, who adds the company plans to introduce new products this holiday season. The fitness-products maker also makes Nautilus machines and Schwinn indoor cycling bikes for gyms and home use. Shares rise 4.5% to 70 cents in aftermarket trading.
