However, it wasn’t until ROBO emerged in 2013 that ROBO gave the investing an index that centered on the space. In a recent What Makes That Ticker Tick segment, Mercer said, “The premise 10 years ago when the index was created was that nobody had mapped out robotics, let alone the robotics subsectors that comprised the universe of robotics.” \n\n\n\n\n\nRobotics Today \n\nToday, automation, robotics, and AI are all seeing tremendous interest from investors.
