0748 GMT - Frasers Hospitality Trust is entering a more competitive environment in FY 2024 amid increased supply of hotel and serviced-residence rooms, Maybank analyst Li Jialin says in a report. The analyst points to coming additional supply of rooms in the trust's key markets--Edinburgh, Kuala Lumpur and Dresden. Maybank lowers its FY 2024-FY 2025 revenue forecasts for the Singapore-listed hotel and serviced-residence trust by 6%-8%, as earnings growth moderates and competition heats up. It expects occupancies across the trust's hotel portfolio to continue to recover, nearing prepandemic levels, due to strong leisure demand. It also forecasts stable revenue per available room across the trust's key markets. Maybank maintains a buy rating but trims the target price to S$0.53 from S$0.54. Units were recently at S$0.51.
