Shares of ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (NYSEARCA:ARKW), ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (NYSEARCA:ARKF), and ARK Innovation ETF (NYSEARCA:ARKK) each finished in the top 12 in terms of best performing actively managed ETFs of 2023 (excluding leveraged and inverse funds) yet all three funds have watched investors pull money out of the ETFs. In total, nearly $1B was taken out of ARKW, ARKK, and ARKF even as the three funds are +90.5%, +61.5%, and +77.7% so far this week. ARKW was the eighth best performing actively managed fund in 2023, while ARKF and ARKK were the tenth and twelfth best performers. ARKK, Wood’s flagship fund has observed the bulk of the investor exodus as it watched $891.09M head for the doors in 2023. Next in line was ARKW as it saw a retraction of $87.76M so far this year.
