BUZZ-Yum China's HK shares hit over 3-month peak as Q4 results beat estimates

** Hong Kong-listed shares of Yum China jump as much as 28.1% to HK$371.40, their highest since Nov 1

** Shares on course for a fifth straight session of gains, if trend holds

** Stock marks biggest intraday pct gain since September 2020, and is second-biggest pct gainer in Hang Seng Composite Index

** U.S-listed shares rose 4.2% on Tuesday

** Yum China says Q4 total revenue up 19% YoY and declared a 23% increase in cash dividend to $0.16 per share while it plans to open up to 1700 net new stores in 2024

** Yum China reported adjusted earnings of $0.25​​ per share for the quarter ended in December, higher than $0.12 in the year-ago period, and above mean expectations of $0.16 apiece

** Hang Seng Composite Index and Hang Seng Index

both rise 1.4%

** Hong Kong-listed stock up 1.8% YTD
