EUR/USD Likely to Stay Fairly Steady Ahead of Tuesday's U.S. Inflation Data -- Market Talk

Dow Jones02-12

0837 GMT - EUR/USD is unlikely to move much until Tuesday's U.S. inflation data, analysts at DZ Bank Research say in a note. A number of speeches by European Central Bank and Federal Reserve officials on Monday could spark some movement, though these are unlikely to have a significant impact due to the market's focus on U.S. inflation figures, they say. EUR/USD briefly rises to a 10-day high of 1.0808 but soon drops back to trade flat, last at 1.0782. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)
