0633 GMT - Genting Singapore's 2024-2025 earnings outlook appears brighter, Nomura analysts say in a research report as they raise the stock's target rice to S$1.30 from S$1.26 with an unchanged buy rating. Barring any blips in its VIP hold rate, the Singapore-listed integrated resort operator's 1Q 2024 results should be better, thanks to factors such as seasonally strong gaming volumes and mutual Singapore-China visa waiver beginning February, the analysts say. Attractions including 'Minion Land' are slated to be finished by end-2024 and will be ready for soft opening in early 2025, providing further growth for the IR operator, the analysts add. Shares are 7.8% lower at S$0.95. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
