0121 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index edges 0.2% higher to 3145.92. Focus will likely be on the U.S. January PCE price index, given recent hotter-than-expected CPI and PPI data, Commerzbank analysts say in a research note. Consensus expectations are for the PCE price index to fall to 2.4% on year from 2.6% previously, the analysts add. Among best performers on the benchmark index, SATS Ltd. rises 1.9%, Genting Singapore adds 1.1%, and Sembcorp Industries is up 1.4%. Meanwhile, UOL Group drops 2.6%, Thai Beverage sheds 1.0%, and CapitaLand Investment is down 0.7%. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
