Dow Jones03-01

0113 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index edges 0.2% lower to 3134.77 after swinging between mild gains and losses in early trade. Although U.S. PCE inflation data released overnight came within expectations, there remains unease that the Fed's preferred measure of underlying inflation is still sticky, Commerzbank Research analysts say in a note. Among worst performers on the benchmark index, Hongkong Land falls 3.55%, CapitaLand Investment loses 1.8%, and Jardine Matheson Holdings is down 1.7%. Meanwhile, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust rises 0.7%, Wilmar International adds 0.9%, and Thai Beverage is up 1.0%.(ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
