Ryde Group Shares Rise in Trading Debut After IPO

Shares of Ryde Group climbed in their trading debut Wednesday after the mobility company's initial public offering was priced at the low end of expectations.

The Singapore-based company, which runs the country's first carpool app, sold 3 million shares at $4 apiece, compared with an expected price range of $4 to $5.

Ryde shares were recently changing hands at $4.41, up 10%, after opening at $3.70.
