The company has been growing market share in Europe and China steadily, and has scope to tap more opportunities in emerging markets, the analysts say. Citi likes the Xiaomi's growth in the sector in 4Q and is upbeat about its prospects for market-share expansion overseas. With Xiaomi's internet segment slowly recovering, its gross profit margin will likely to be controlled this year. Citi raises 2024 smartphone shipment estimates to 162 million this year from 157 million, backed by strong momentum in 1Q and the resilient growth outlook in EMs. It keep a buy call on the stock.
