Singapore Shares Rangebound on Cautious Sentiment Ahead of Fed Meeting -- Market Talk

0121 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index is steady at 3173.78, trading in a tight sideways range amid caution ahead of the FOMC's two-day meeting which begins later in the global day. Gainers include Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, which is up 2.3% and Singapore Telecommunications up 0.8%. Singapore Post rises 3.95% after it says it will sell some non-core assets and businesses as part of its strategic review. Among the decliners, Jardine Matheson is down 1.3%, Wilmar International sheds 0.9% and Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust is 0.8% lower. (kimberley.kao@wsj.com)
