BUZZ-US energy sector climbs as supply concerns heighten

** S&P 500 Energy Sector rises 1.1%, tracking gains in crude prices

** Brent crude up 1.5% at $86.67/bbl and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude up 1.6% at $81.94/bbl, after hostilities intensified between Russia and Ukraine and in the Middle East

** Energy majors Exxon Mobil and Chevron both up about ~1%

** Conocophillips , Marathon Oil , Coterra Energy , Devon Energy , Halliburton and APA Corp are among the top pct. gainers on the energy index, rise between 1.4% and 2%
