Singapore Shares Edges 0.1% Higher in Choppy Trade -- Market Talk

0110 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index edges 0.1% higher at 3256.13 in choppy trade, as the index flits between gains and losses. Investors should be keeping an eye on the U.S. PCE Inflation data due Friday for more clues about the Fed's rate path. The best performers on the benchmark index include CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, which is up 1.1%, while Thai Beverage adds 1.0% and SATS gains 1.2%. Meanwhile, decliners include Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust, which is down 0.9%.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
