Shares of GSI Technology rose after the company announced the release of two new server products designed for artificial intelligence applications.
The stock was up 42% to $4.84 in Tuesday trading. Shares are up about 86% this year.
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based semiconductor-products maker said that the new server products were high capacity and low power.
GSI said the new server systems were shipping from stock. The Leda-E and Leda-S boards both incorporate the company's Gemini-I associative processing unit, which is used in AI.
