In total, the financial community retracted 7.5B during the week. Taxable bond funds led the inflow charge at $3.1B. Equity funds garnered $2B, and tax exempt bond funds attracted $447M. At the other end of the spectrum, money market funds handed back $11.8B, alternative investments funds lost $485M, commodities funds observed outflows of $435M, and mixed assets funds lost $350M. From an equity exchange traded fund vantagepoint, the two funds that observed the most significant amount of capital inflows on the week were the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:IVV) at $10.7B and iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) at $824M. In reverse, the two equity based ETFs that watched the most amount of capital leave were the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:SPY) at $5.5B and the ProShares UltraPro QQQ (NASDAQ:TQQQ) at $992M. Looking at the exchange traded fund space through the fixed income lens and market participants will have noticed that the two funds that were able to bring in the most amount of net new cash on the week where the iShares Core US Aggregate Bond ETF (NYSEARCA:AGG) at $958M and iShares iBoxx $High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) at $899M. At the other side the two ETFs that suffered the greatest capital losses on the week were iShares iBoxx $Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (LQD) at $1.8B and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) at $1.5B.
