MOSCOW, April 3 (Reuters) - Authorities in Russia and its largest liquefied natural gas $(LNG)$ producer Novatek

are addressing the shortage of gas carriers for the Arctic LNG 2 project, TASS news agency quoted Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov as saying on Wednesday.

Two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday that Novatek had suspended production at its Arctic LNG 2 project due to sanctions and a shortage of gas tankers.
