0355 GMT - China's intelligent-vehicle supply chain will likely see solid growth in 2024, benefiting from the fierce competition in the country's auto market, Nomura analysts say in a research note. China's carmakers are increasingly adding intelligent functions like autonomous driving to their models as the vie for demand, and the launch of Xiaomi's SU7 has raised consumer awareness of smart cars. The intelligent-vehicle supply chain is far from mature and has many growth opportunities ahead, especially for makers of key components such as chips, domain controllers and sensors, the analysts say. The upcoming Beijing Auto Show, where carmakers will likely unveil new models, could be a catalyst for the sector, they add. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
