2339 GMT - Australian general insurers have seen a relatively benign mark to market, with spreads holding relatively stable between end-December and end-March, say Goldman Sachs analysts Julian Braganza and Brian Kim in a note. Underlying yields were broadly stable resulting in a continuation of strong investment returns for the insurers, they say. The good performance of equities also benefited investment returns for the insurers. GS raises QBE's target price by 10% to A$20.58, IAG's by 5.0% to A$6.30 and Suncorp's by 7.9% to A$17.54.(alice.uribe@wsj.com)
