Paramount Confirms 4 Directors Won't Stand for Reelection -- Market Talk

1754 ET - Paramount confirms that its board is getting trimmer ahead of a possible merger. The entertainment company says in its proxy filing that its board will be reduced to seven from 11, as four directors will not stand for reelection. The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Dawn Ostroff, Nicole Seligman, Frederick Terrell and Rob Klieger would not stand for reelection. People familiar with the matter told WSJ previously that at least one of the departing directors had expressed concern with a potential deal with Skydance Media. Shares are down 0.3% after-hours.
