Exact Sciences Taps Aaron Bloomer as Finance Chief

Exact Sciences named Aaron Bloomer as finance chief, replacing Jeff Elliott in the role.

The provider of cancer screening and diagnostic tests said Monday that the appointment of Bloomer, who most recently worked at Baxter International, will be effective on May 15.

Before Baxter, Bloomer spent a decade at 3M in positions including senior vice president of financial planning and analysis, and CFO of 3M China.

The succession update comes about three months after departing CFO Elliott said he planned to step down in 2024 due to personal reasons.

Bloomer will first join Exact Sciences as executive vice president of finance, effective immediately, and will succeed Elliott following a 30-day transition period.

Elliott will then transition to special advisor to Chief Executive Officer Kevin Conroy.
