APAC Airlines and Airports Likely to See Limited Impact From Middle East -- Market Talk

Dow Jones04-15

0304 GMT - Asia-Pacific airlines and airports under Citi Research's coverage are likely to see limited impact if there is no significant further escalation in the Middle East. Israel, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan reopened their airspace on Sunday after closing it when Iran launched drone and missile attacks against Israel late Saturday, the analysts note. Turkey's in-bound visitations continue to "sequentially improve" despite the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine conflicts, they say, noting that the country is in close proximity to Russia and Israel. However, bookings could be affected in the near term, they say. Citi's top buys include Airports of Thailand, SATS, Air China, Cathay Pacific and Eva Airways.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
