Western Alliance (NYSE:WAL) reported quarterly earnings of $1.60 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.66 by 3.61 percent. This is a 30.43 percent decrease over earnings of $2.30 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $728.80 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $697.04 million by 4.56 percent. This is a 32.05 percent increase over sales of $551.90 million the same period last year.
