Stocks to Watch Wednesday: United Airlines, ASML, Alcoa, Trump Media -- WSJ

ASML Holding $(ASML)$, (NL:ASML): The semiconductor-equipment giant's orders missed expectations for last quarter. Its American depositary receipts fell more than 7%, on track for their lowest close since mid-February.

United Airlines $(UAL)$: The airline reported a jump in first-quarter revenue, boosted by strong demand for flights. Shares rose were up around 17% in recent trading and were the best performers in the S&P 500.

Trump Media & Technology $(DJT)$: Shares of Truth Social's parent company jumped over 16%, cutting into recent declines in the company's stock.

Adidas (XE: ADS): Shares of the sportswear giant gained more than 8% in Frankfurt, closing at their highest level since February 2022. Adidas raised its revenue and profit expectations, with the controversial Yeezy brand contributing to its better-than-anticipated first quarter.

Prologis $(PLD)$: The logistics property giant logged better-than-expected quarterly revenue, but warned of a slowdown in the industrial real-estate market. Its stock fell more than 7%.

Tesla $(TSLA)$: Tesla asked shareholders to vote on Chief Executive Elon Musks compensation and on moving its state of incorporation to Texas. Tesla stock edged lower.

Travelers $(TRV)$: The property and casualty insurer's shares sold off after its quarterly earnings disappointed investors. Travelers stock was the worst performer among the Dow industrials.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services $(JBHT)$: Shares of the trucking and logistics company slid roughly 8% after it reported a decline in quarterly profit and revenue.

LVMH (FR:MC**)**: Shares of the luxury giant closed 2.8% higher in Paris, despite the Louis Vuitton and Dior owner reporting a decrease in quarterly revenue.

U.S. Bancorp $(USB)$: The lender's quarterly profit fell on lower revenues, and after it boosted provisions for credit losses. Its stock declined around than 3.5%.
