Dow Jones04-17

By Patricia Kowsmann

United Airlines $(UAL)$: The airline reported a jump in first-quarter revenue, boosted by strong demand for flights. Shares rose 5% ahead of the opening bell.

Adidas (XE: ADS): Shares of the sportswear giant rose over 6% in Frankfurt after it raised its revenue and profit expectations. The controversial Yeezy brand contributed to a better-than-anticipated first quarter.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services $(JBHT)$: Shares of the trucking and logistics company sank 6% in premarket trading after it reported a decline in quarterly profit and revenue.

ASML Holding $(ASML)$, (NL:ASML): The semiconductor-equipment giant's orders missed analysts expectations for last quarter. Shares fell 4% in the Netherlands and also traded lower in U.S. premarket.

LVMH (FR:MC**)**: Shares of the luxury giant rose 3.5% in Paris, despite the Louis Vuitton and Dior owner reporting a decrease in quarterly revenue.

Trump Media & Technology $(DJT)$: Shares of the Truth Social parent edged lower premarket. The stock fell 14% Tuesday, extending a drop that has erased much of the company's share-price gains for the year.

Quarterly earnings are due from Abbott Laboratories $(ABT)$ and Prologis $(PLD)$ ahead of the market open and CSX $(CSX)$ after the close.
