L'Oreal's 1Q Performance Unlikely to Be Repeated in Near Term -- Market Talk

0713 GMT - L'Oreal's 1Q revenue came in above Bloomberg consensus, but the French cosmetics company warned on China's muted demand and pressure in the U.S. mass market, DB Research analysts say in a note. "There are still large questions marks over structural growth in China and growth effects of foreign exchange pricing," they say. Meanwhile, the stock is currently pricing in continuing 8% compound growth and moderate margin improvement, which is unrealistic, the analysts add. (helena.smolak@wsj.com)
