Hong Kong bourse operator's Q1 profit down 13%

HONG KONG, April 24 (Reuters) - Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd , which runs the Hong Kong bourse, reported a 13% drop in first-quarter profit on Wednesday, beating forecasts.

The profit attributable to HKEX shareholders dropped to HK$2.97 billion ($379.12 million), from HK$3.41 billion in the same period of 2023, beating analysts' forecasts of HK$2.82 billion compiled by LSEG.
