Warpaint London reported higher pretax profit, boosted by record revenue with significant growth in all geographic regions, and said that strong momentum continued in first quarter.
The U.K. cosmetics company said Wednesday that for the year ended Dec. 31 pretax profit was 18.1 million ($22.5 million) compared with GBP7.7 million for the same period a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization--one of the company's preferred metrics--increased to GBP20.4 million from GBP11.7 million.
Revenue rose to GBP89.6 million from GBP64.1 million. Within this, EU revenue increased 60.5% to GBP45.1 million. U.K. revenue grew 18% to GBP32.6 million and U.S. revenue rose 37% to GBP7.3 million.
The board declared a final dividend of 6.0 pence a share, up from 4.5 pence a share in 2022, bringing the total dividend for the year to 9.0 pence a share.
