Silicon Laboratories has named board member Robert Conrad senior vice president of worldwide operations, effective April 29.

Silicon Labs on Wednesday said Sandeep Kumar, who has held the post since July 2013, will leave the Austin, Texas, company later this year. Kumar joined the company in July 2006.

Silicon Labs said Conrad, who has been a director since July 2022, will step down from the board. He previously served as senior vice president of NXP Semiconductors' automotive microcontrollers and processors business.

The company said Conrad, 64 years old, will receive an annual base salary of $450,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 100% of his base pay.
