DoorDash and Walgreens have partnered to allow SNAP and EBT customers to make their purchases directly from Walgreens using their benefits cards on DoorDash's platform.

The delivery service and drug-store jointly announced the collaboration on Wednesday. DoorDash said it is now the first third-party delivery provider to offer SNAP and EBT payment options at a major national drugstore.

The team-up doubles the number of stores that are now available on DoorDash's platform for on-demand delivery with SNAP and EBT payments, the company said.

Walgreens said it will offer more than 4,000 SNAP-eligible products for delivery through DoorDash.
