9:24 ET -- Polaris is tweaking its production plans in response to current trends and recreation and utility as well as the weak snow season. The Medina, Minn.-based powersports-vehicle maker reduced RZR side-by-side production as recreation retail has been down. Chief Executive Mike Speetzen adds on an investor call that the company doesn't see a near-term improvement given elevated interest rates weighing on consumer purchases and the likelihood that rates stay higher for longer.
