According to the collaboration, about 3,000 employees at Massachusetts-based biotech Moderna (MRNA) will have access to ChatGPT Enterprise, built on OpenAI's cutting-edge language model, GPT-4, by the end of this week, The Wall Street Journal reported. The financial terms of the deal were not announced.  The companies initiated their collaboration in early 2023 by launching a customized version of ChatGPT called mChat, which has been deployed to more than 80% of employees across Moderna (MRNA) since its debut. \"This initial success accelerated an AI culture that led to the deployment of ChatGPT Enterprise and its enhanced capabilities such as Advanced Analytics, Image Generation, and GPTs,\" the companies said. \"Moderna has an ambitious plan to launch multiple products over the next few years, and collaborations with companies like OpenAI are critical to our ability to scale and maximize our impact on patients,\" Moderna (MRNA) CEO Stéphane Bancel remarked. 'People literally talk about how AI is going to cure diseases someday, and I think this is a very meaningful first step,' OpenAI CEO Sam Altman added. Recursion Pharmaceuticals (RXRX) which in 2023 partnered with chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA) for AI-led drug discovery rose after the announcement.
