New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) reported quarterly earnings of $0.63 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.79 by 20.25 percent. This is a 12.5 percent increase over earnings of $0.56 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.207 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.105 billion by 9.30 percent. This is a 60.09 percent increase over sales of $754.153 million the same period last year.
