1113 GMT - Abrdn's market conditions remain challenging but are starting to show signs of improvement, including hints at possibly growing demand for fixed income funds and a change in sentiment on Asia, HSBC says in a note. The analysts continue to see macroeconomic and financial market uncertainties, higher costs of living pressures, current industry trend challenges but "believe that these themes are not getting incrementally worse currently, and we may be seeing small signs of improvement in some places." HSBC raises its rating on the investment manager's stock to hold from reduce. Shares in London rise 3.3% to 146.7 pence and are down 18% year to date. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
