Alphabet, Meta Platforms And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Thursday

With U.S. stock futures trading lower this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

Wall Street expects Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) to report quarterly earnings at $1.51 per share on revenue of $78.59 billion before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Alphabet shares fell 3% to $156.20 in after-hours trading.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) posted better-than-expected earnings and sales results for its first quarter on Wednesday. The company reported 3.24 billion Family Daily Active People in the first quarter, up 7% year-over-year. The company said capital spending is likely increasing in future years as its artificial intelligence roadmap is supported. Meta shares dipped 15.2% to $418.71 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) to post quarterly earnings at 14 cents per share on revenue of $12.78 billion. The company will release earnings after the markets close. Intel shares fell 0.1% to $34.47 in after-hours trading.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) reported better-than-expected financial results for the first quarter on Wednesday. The company reported quarterly revenue of $42.8 billion, which was up 1.3% year-over-year, and also exceeded a Street consensus estimate of $40.1 billion

Analysts expect Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) to post quarterly earnings at $5.14 per share on revenue of $16.22 billion before the opening bell. Caterpillar shares rose 0.4% to $365.00 in after-hours trading.
