Singapore Shares Fall 1.2%, in Likely Position Adjustment -- Market Talk

0115 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index falls 1.2% to 3254.55 in likely position adjustments, after U.S. shares ended mixed overnight. Investors are also likely waiting for U.S. advance estimates of its first quarter GDP due out later today. Almost all sectors are in the red. Among decliners on the benchmark index, Genting Singapore falls 3.2%, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust sheds 1.6%, and Jardine Matheson Holdings is down 1.9%. Meanwhile, Wilmar International is up 0.3%.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
