Atlassian Co-Founder Scott Farquhar To Step Down As Co-CEO

Atlassian said co-founder Scott Farquhar would step down as a head of the company after 23 years.

The productivity software company said co-Chief Executive Mike Cannon-Brookes, also a co-founder of Atlassian, would become its sole CEO.

Farquhar's last day as co-CEO will be Aug. 31. He will continue as a board member and become a special adviser to the company.

Farquhar said in a letter to employees that he would focus on spending time with his family, philanthropy and mentoring other tech CEOs.
