BUZZ-CNOOC's Hong Kong shares climb to all-time high after record Q1 profit

** Hong Kong-listed shares of CNOOC Ltd jump 5.8% to HK$20.10, their highest since debut in February 2001, and on course for a fourth straight session of gains

** Stock posts biggest intraday pct rise since Feb 22, and is biggest pct gainer in the Hang Seng Composite Index, which tracks energy stocks , Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index and Hang Seng Index

** CNOOC's Shanghai-listed shares rise 4.1% to 30.04 yuan, their highest since April 22

** The Chinese national oil and gas explorer's first-quarter net profit surged 24% to a record peak, driven by higher realised oil prices and output growth

** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index rises 2.2%, index tracking energy stocks surges 2.6% and Hang Seng Index adds 1.6%

** Hong Kong stock up 30.3% YTD, Shanghai shares up 42.5% YTD
