China State Shipbuilding to build 18 LNG ships for QatarEnergy, CCTV says

SINGAPORE, April 29 (Reuters) - China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) and QatarEnergy have signed an agreement to build 18 ultra-large ships to transport liquefied natural gas, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said on Monday.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony on Monday, added CCTV. The vessels will have a capacity of 271,000 cubic meters each.
