China's maximum summer power load seen rising over 100 mln KW on yr

BEIJING, April 29 (Reuters) - China's energy regulator expects maximum power load this summer to increase by more than 100 million kilowatts over last year, the National Energy Administration said on Monday.

The regulator expects supply to be tight in China's eastern, central, southern and southwestern regions, particularly in the event of extreme weather, officials told a press conference.
