Akili plans to reduce its workforce by 46% as its board evaluates potential strategic alternatives aimed at maximizing shareholder value.

The digital medicine company said the reduction will include an elimination of its marketing and medical affairs teams. In conjunction with the restructuring, it will substantially reduce promotions for its EndeavorRx and EndeavorOTC products.

Akili had 68 full-time employees as of Feb. 1, according to a regulatory filing.
