BUZZ-Copper miners gain as red metal hits two-year high on BHP bid for Anglo

** Shares of copper miners rise, as prices of the red metal soar to two-year highs

** Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange $(LME.UK)$ rises 2% to $10,162 a metric ton, driven by supply concerns highlighted by BHP Group's bid for Anglo American

** U.S.-listed shares of mining giants Rio Tinto and BHP Group up 0.6% and 0.2%, respectively

** Southern Copper and Freeport-McMoRan climb 2.8% and 2.7%, respectively

** Shares of Canadian miners Hudbay Mineral , Teck Resources and Ero Copper gain between 1% and 2.2%
