Stocks to Watch Monday: Tesla, SoFi, Paramount, Domino's -- WSJ

Tesla $(TSLA)$: Shares were up about 11% shortly after the market open, poised to extend last week's rally. Chief Executive Elon Musk won Beijing's blessing to roll out its driver-assistance service on a visit to China, Tesla's biggest overseas market.

Baidu (BIDU, HK:9888): Tesla will deploy its autonomous services in China based on Baidu's mapping and navigation functions, people familiar with the matter said. The Chinese tech company's American depositary receipts jumped more than 6%.

Paramount Global (PARA): Shares of the entertainment conglomerate, which is due to report earnings late Monday, rallied nearly 6%. On Friday, its shares fell after the Journal reported that Paramount was considering replacing its chief executive.

SoFi Technologies $(SOFI)$: The digital financial-services provider's shares slid after its forecasts for this quarter disappointed investors. SoFi's results for last quarter topped expectations, however.

AMC Entertainment $(AMC)$: The theater chain-turned-meme stock said late Friday that last year's writer and actor strikes would dent its first-quarter results. Its shares fell about 5% in early trading.

Domino's $(DPZ)$: The world's biggest pizza chain reported better-than-expected earnings, boosted by amped-up promotions and marketing. Its stock rallied over 5%.

MicroStrategy $(MSTR)$ is due to report earnings after the market close. Later this week, Amazon.com $(AMZN)$ and Apple $(AAPL)$ will post results; both stocks rose Monday.

Philips (NL:PHIA, PHG): Shares of the Dutch health-tech company jumped roughly 35% after Philips said it had reached a $1.1 billion settlement in the U.S. relating to its Respironics ventilators.

Deutsche Bank (XE:DBK, DB): Germany's biggest bank said it faced a loss of up to roughly $1.4 billion relating to a shareholder lawsuit over a 2010 acquisition. Its shares fell more than 8%.

Heartland Financial USA $(HTLF)$: UMB Financial is set to acquire the commercial banking services company in an all-stock transaction worth $2 billion. Heartland shares jumped 16%; UMB stock slid.
