General Mills Buys European Pet-Food Brand Edgard & Cooper

General Mills on Tuesday said it has acquired European premium pet-food brand Edgard & Cooper for an undisclosed amount.

General Mills said Belgium-based Edgard & Cooper generated retail sales of more than $107 million across 13 markets last year.

Minneapolis-based General Mills, which posted fiscal 2023 sales topping $20 billion, said it funded the deal with cash on hand.
