Carvana $(CVNA)$: The online used-car seller posted a profit last quarter, and said that revenue grew, in a sign that its turnaround efforts are bearing fruit. Shares surged nearly 40% in premarket trading.
DoorDash $(DASH)$: The food delivery's company's shares tumbled premarket after it posted a bigger-than-expected loss late Wednesday.
NIO (HK:9866), $(NIO)$****: The EV maker's shares rose around 20% in Hong Kong after Nio said April deliveries had more-than doubled from a year earlier. Shares also rallied in U.S. premarket trading.
Qualcomm $(QCOM)$: The chip company's shares advanced more than 5% in premarket trading after it reported a slight increase in quarterly sales. Qualcomm said its inroads into supplying chips to automakers helped drive sales.
Etsy $(ETSY)$: Shares of the online marketplace slid premarket after its chief executive warned about ongoing pressure on consumer-discretionary spending. The company's first-quarter net income declined.
Moderna $(MRNA)$: The drug maker posted better-than-expected quarterly results, as it prepares for its RSV vaccine launch. Its shares edged higher premarket.
Apple $(AAPL)$ will report after the market close.
