Diebold Nixdorf Shares Rise on Higher 1Q Sales

Shares of Diebold Nixdorf on Thursday climbed after the company logged higher sales in the first quarter and maintained its outlook for the year.

The stock has climbed 8.8% to $33.91. Shares have risen 18% over the past 12 months.

The company reported sales for the three months ended March 31 of $895.4 million from $858.1 million a year earlier.

"Our first quarter gives us confidence in our initial financial outlook for the remainder of the year," Chief Executive Octavio Marquez said.
