SYDNEY, May 8 (Reuters) - Australia's Iluka Resources

is in talks with the Australian government for more support for the Eneabba rare earths refinery in the state of Western Australia, CFO Adele Stratton said on Wednesday.

"Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the status of those discussions and I'm not going to be drawn on precisely when arrangements might be announced, nor on the likely terms," Stratton said during the Macquarie Australia conference.

The Australian government has already agreed to provide a A$1.25 billion ($822 million) loan for the refinery through its critical minerals facility.
